Junior Mathematics Club

We have had a great start to the year in Junior Mathematics Club! The students have arrived each week eager to participate and practise their math fluency skills.

Each week the students are shown a new game or activity focusing on fluency (one of the maths proficiencies) and then have the opportunity to have a go and play with students from other classes/year levels.

Here are some Year 2 students enjoying Junior Maths Club!

- Juan - 'I like the card games because they are fun'.

- Kevin - 'I like addition square because I can colour in the squares'.

- Riya - 'I like when we play different maths games because it helps with my maths'.

- Kiyara - 'The tens frames game was fun to play because we got to roll the dice'.

- Chloe - 'I like the tens frames game because we got a chance to win'.
