Join the TAPITAS Fundraiser: Help Provide Clean Water!

We're excited to launch TAPITAS, a fun and impactful fundraising activity from Caritas Australia! TAPITAS stands for Tap Into the Power of Action, and it allows students to raise funds for water projects that provide clean water to communities in need.

How Does It Work?

Students donate to add a "water droplet" to the school’s Water Wall. Each droplet represents a step toward bringing clean water to families, like those in Sepoima, Samoa, who now have safe water thanks to Caritas.

Get Involved:

  • Donate: Add your droplet to the wall with a donation of $5 per family
  • Track Progress: Watch the Water Wall fill as donations grow!

Why Participate?

Your support helps provide clean water, while teaching the values of empathy and global citizenship. Together, we can make a real difference, one droplet at a time.

Visit the TAPITAS section on Caritas Australia’s website for more details and resources. Let’s work together to bring clean water to those who need it most!

Thank you for supporting this important cause!

Year 3 Reconciliation

This week, our Year 3 children took a significant step in their faith journey by celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This important milestone marks a moment of reflection, forgiveness, and renewal as they grow in their understanding of God’s love and grace.

Under the guidance of their teachers and with the support of their families, the children prepared for this sacrament with care, learning about the importance of reconciliation, repentance, and seeking forgiveness. It was a beautiful and meaningful experience, allowing the children to reflect on their actions and embrace the gift of God’s forgiveness.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 3 children for their commitment to this sacrament and their growth in faith. May this experience continue to inspire them as they deepen their relationship with God and one another.

Congratulations to our Year 3 students on this special occasion!

The Jubilee Prayer

Father in heaven,

May the faith you have given us

in your son  Jesus Christ, our brother,

and the flame of charity enkindled

in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,

reawaken in us the blessed hope

of the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us

into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.

May those seeds transform from within

both humanity and the whole cosmos

in the sure expectation

of a new heaven and a new earth,

when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,

your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee

reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,

a yearning for the treasures of heaven.

May that same grace spread

the joy and peace of our Redeemer

throughout the earth.

To you our God, eternally blessed,

be glory and praise for ever.

Amen

This prayer was written by Pope Francis and includes foci on the needs of God’s creation as well as humanity.
