Just for Fun!
On Monday, our Year 12 Physics students
attended the VCE Physics Day at Luna Park as
part of their Unit 3, Area of Study 1: How do physicists explain motion in two dimensions?
The day began with a peaceful moment on the St Kilda foreshore, where students watched an impressive RAAF aerobatic display. Excitement built as we crossed the road into Luna Park, eager to experience the rides—not just for the thrill, but to apply Newton’s Laws of Motion in real-life scenarios.
Through various attractions, students explored the relationships between force, energy, and mass, deepening their understanding of motion in two dimensions.
The experience was not only fun and exciting but also a valuable learning opportunity, reinforcing key physics concepts in an engaging way.
