Foundation News

Akshpreet and Mirren

Hello families! Our Foundation students have been busy exploring new letters, numbers, and exciting learning experiences. We are so proud of their progress and enthusiasm in the classroom!

📖 Literacy

Our young learners have been focusing on letters A, R, S, and M—recognising them, practicing their sounds, and using cued articulation to support correct pronunciation. They are also refining their handwriting skills by learning to write both uppercase and lowercase letters with the correct formation. As they progress, they are gaining a clearer understanding of the difference between letters and words.

🔢 Numeracy

In Numeracy, we have been working with numbers 1 to 5, exploring different ways to represent them through objects, drawings, and tallies. These hands-on activities are helping students develop strong number sense and confidence in early mathematical concepts.

🏃‍♂️ First-Ever Cross Country!

A huge congratulations to our Foundation students for completing their first-ever Cross Country event! This was a big milestone, and we are so proud of their effort, determination, and enthusiasm. Whether they ran, jogged, or walked, every student gave it their best and showed incredible resilience. It was wonderful to see them cheering each other on and embracing the challenge with big smiles. Well done, everyone!
