Senior Campus news

Another fun filled time at Senior Campus!
It’s been another busy fortnight, filled with many positive events in the Senior Campus.
First, I’d like to acknowledge the fantastic effort our students put into preparing for the school captain speeches. Speaking in front of a large crowd can be daunting, but our students rose to the occasion with confidence, presenting their speeches to the entire school. It was inspiring to watch our younger students look up to those presenting—something we hope all students will strive toward.
A huge congratulations to all the students who presented on the day; you were excellent role models for everyone! Look for the feature in the next newsletter for photos, videos and more.
This term, student engagement has been a major focus, and we’d like to thank all parents and carers for their efforts in ensuring students hand in their phones each morning. This has made a significant impact on helping students stay focused and engaged in their learning. As a result, the classroom engagement levels have been outstanding, and we truly appreciate your continued support.
Finally, the Pink Stumps cricket game – the student versus staff match in celebration of Pink Stumps Day – was a huge success! It was heartening to see the students supporting and encouraging each other throughout the game, and everyone had so much fun. I’m sure next year, the students will manage to beat the teachers!
