At Banmira Specialist School, we believe that every student has a voice, and our Student Representative Council (SRC) is leading the way in making sure it is heard. Across our campus, SRC members have begun meeting with our Student Voice Leader, Stella, to share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas about how we can continue making our school a great place to learn and grow.
Leadership is about more than just having a title—it’s about setting an example for others. Our SRC students are already stepping up by hosting our Friday assemblies, proudly sharing what they love about our school and helping their peers feel connected. Some of our student leaders are also preparing to take on an important role in our upcoming Official Campus Opening, representing our school with confidence and pride.
At Banmira, we encourage all students to be leaders in their own way by following our school expectations: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner. Our SRC members demonstrate these values every day, whether by ensuring everyone feels welcome at assemblies, listening to their classmates’ ideas, or taking on new challenges with enthusiasm.
We are incredibly proud of our student leaders and look forward to seeing their ideas and contributions continue to shape our school community.
