What is your favourite number and why? I have two favourite numbers 4 and 6 , just because it has been with me all along whether it was my phone number, my birthday, or my hall ticket number.

What is your favourite book and why? I enjoy reading fictional books , The Sherlock Holmes series created by Author Conan Doyle, is one of my favourites. He is known for is proficiency with observation and logical reasoning which he applies when investigating cases for his clients.

What is your favourite food? Nothing can beat my love for my Mom’s Haleem … It is a porridge of meat , wheat, and lentils. It is made by slow cooking the meat in lentils and spices . TOO GOOD TO RESIST!!

What do you like most about teaching and learning? Teaching and learning to me is mostly about making a difference by positively influencing a student’s way of thinking and doing things. Nothing encourages me more to see them pursue their passions and to support our very dear children.  “TO TEACH IS TO TOUCH A LIFE FOREVER!”

Joseph Bough - Performing Arts and Visual Teacher and PLC Leader

What is your role in the College? I’m the PLC leader for Performing Arts and Visual Arts across the Primary year levels! That means I get to work with an outstanding team who bring creativity to life—whether it’s through a dazzling dance routine, a dramatic performance, or a masterpiece of visual storytelling, I get to witness everyone sampling it all!

What is your favourite colour? Blue! Like the sky just before a great adventure, the ocean full of mysteries, and the perfect splash of paint on a canvas—it’s bold, inspiring, and full of possibility! It is also the colour of my favourite football (Soccer) team!

What is your favourite number and why? Ooh, that’s a tricky one! I’d have to go with seven—it’s got that magical, lucky charm to it! Seven wonders of the world, seven colours in the rainbow, seven days in a week! It's also the number I used to wear when I played soccer!

What is your favourite book and why? Now that’s a tough call! But if I had to choose, I'd say The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It’s a wild ride through words, numbers, and imagination—exactly the kind of journey I love taking my students on!

What is your favourite food? Something deliciously fun—maybe pizza, or lasagne! It’s like an edible canvas, and you can put whatever toppings you want to make it a masterpiece.

What do you like most about teaching and learning? The lightbulb moments! That instant when a student discovers something new, conquers a challenge, or realizes they can do something they never thought possible—THAT is the best feeling in the world. Every lesson is a new adventure, and I get to help young minds explore, create, and find out who they really are!
