Year 11 Mass

Congratulations to Mr Borello and Ms Ristovski’s 11. And 11.2 PCG for hosting the Year 11 Mass. Thank you, Mr Miskiewicz, all students who had a role, especially to our ever-supportive parents and to Old Boy Matthew Loo who played the piano so beautifully. Fra Oscar always delivers important messages to our students, so thank you! 

Year 12 TABGHA Retreat

Wednesday 12 March

A Retreat cannot run without the support of our staff, parents and most importantly, our students.  I would like to sincerely thank all the Year 12 PCG staff for preparing their students to fully embrace all activities on the day.  12.5 even had a graceful display of dolphins swimming and jumping during our morning tea break. 

A special thank you to the leaders who ran the Year 12 Tabgha Retreat; Barry McKenna, Michael Slacksmith, Gerard Theseira, Clint Testa, Nicole Benn, Bernard Le Tessier and Marya Stewart, and a big thank you to all Year 12 PCG staff; Katie Hunter, Troy Alexander, Amanda Mariotti, Nathan Leber, Chanel Fenwick, Chris Allanson and Sonia Scordo.  These retreats are a success because we have such committed staff who prepare for the day and give up their time, despite the hectic lifestyle of a teacher.  

A big thank you to Jo Creighton for preparing all our medical bags and to Dan Quartermaine for the mammoth effort in preparing all our relief teachers and also volunteering to be a substitute PCG teacher whilst Barry McKenna led his PCG.  I appreciate how difficult this task has been.  Thank you to all the staff who covered reliefs! 

Many of our Year 12 students provided some positive feedback on the day, feeling grateful to have some time to pause and reflect on many aspects of their lives, and many also loved the food at each venue.

Friday Community Mass

A big thank you to Mr Slacksmith’s 8.6 PCG and Mrs Fenwick’s 12.6 PCG, especially our readers. It is lovely seeing all our Altar Servers and regulars attending.  We had a fabulous turnout. We also sang Hapy Birthday to Fra Oscar, who celebrated his birthday on Sunday. Fra Oscar, thank you for your wise words of wisdom, and we will certainly smile and say hi to others.
