FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Term 1 - Week 6

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,

Welcome to Week 6.

In Week 4, members of our school community came together for the Parents, Teachers and Friends (PT&F) Annual General Meeting. The meeting was an opportunity to highlight the wonderful work of this body in 2024 who brought our school community closer together and raised significant funds for the Primary Engine Yard.

During the meeting, the 2025 Committee was also elected. An enormous thank you and congratulations to:

  • President – Jacqui Leys (Mother of Gabby Year 4, Sophie Year 2, Georgia Kinder)

  • Vice President – Michelle Drury (Mother of  Nate Year 6, Oscar Year 4 )

  • Secretary –  Tash Healy (Mother of Logan Year 2 and Bonnie Kinder)

  • Treasurer – Jessica Redden (Mother of Ruby Year 3 and Jack Kinder)

  • School Advisory Representative – Bec Johnson (Mother of Eli Year 5)

I ask that parents please support the executive as they work tirelessly to help our students. We also thank the outgoing members of the PT&F for their significant efforts and contributions to our school community.

Colour Run

This week your children should have received information and promotional material about our annual Colour Run. This wonderful community event also doubles as our major fundraiser for 2025. Funds that go directly back to our students, currently directed to the Senior Engine Yard.

Please mark down Friday 22nd March in your diaries and support this fantastic event that brings joy and laughter to our community! There is also a rumour that certain staff members will be getting slimed as a part of our fundraising!!

Green Day

As a part of our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, next Friday we would like to welcome all our parents and friends to celebrate Green Day with us. Please see the details in the General News section of this week's newsletter.

Have a wonderful fortnight everyone,
