Respectful Relationships

This Term in Respectful Relationships, classes have been focusing on the development and understanding of Personal Strengths. What are our Personal Strengths and owh do they help us?

Students have been identifying areas of strength for them such as Bravery, Kindness, Courgae, Resilience etc and building upon this by learning about new strengths they may have that they didn't know was a strength!

Knowing their strengths is crucial for students as it helps them build confidence and make decisions in their lives. By identifying their unique abilities, whether it's in problem-solving, communication, creativity, or leadership, students can focus on areas that align with their passions and potential. Understanding their strengths allows students to set realistic goals, improve their performance, and seek opportunities that play to their advantages.

How can you help promote your childs strengths at home?

  • Provide them with different opportunities to try new things
  • Ask them questions about their passions
  • Praise them and celebrate their achievements
  • Incorporate activities into your daily life where your strengths align with theirs
  • Provide a supportive environment

Another fun way to promote strengths and a postive mindset is by doing some daily affirmations! Students can say these each day to help empower them to boost their confidence.
