Assistant Principals Report

Celebrating the Outstanding Success of Our Whole School Water Safety program.

Congratulations to everyone involved in our whole school Water Safety program. Throughout the program, our students demonstrated our school values, both in the pool at SwimWorld and out of the pool undertaking water safety learning.

The swimming lessons provided our students with the opportunity to refine a wide range of skills, from building water confidence to consolidating their understanding of advanced strokes and techniques. Across all year levels, students demonstrated perseverance, determination, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth.

In addition to the swimming program, we also ran a comprehensive water safety initiative for non-swimmers at school. This critical program equipped students with essential water safety knowledge and skills, from understanding safe water practices to recognizing potential hazards. Non-swimming students participated in interactive lessons designed to teach vital skills such as floating, safe entry and exit techniques, and appropriate responses to water emergencies.

The feedback from SwimWorld staff was nothing short of exceptional, with them commending our students’ maturity, attitude, and conduct throughout the program. Their behaviour and enthusiasm were a true testament to the values we hold dear as a school, and we could not be prouder of their efforts.

Congratulations to all our students for their exemplary participation, respect, and perseverance, we look forward to building on this knowledge both inside and outside the pool next year.

We extend our sincere thanks to the SwimWorld team for their outstanding coaching and support, as well as to our own staff for their dedication and support of the students.
