Monday March 17th the College AGM will be held in the staffroom at 7pm. We will be looking for new parent representatives to support the College moving. Council terms are for two years with the opportunity to be a part of sub-committees. If you have any questions please contact myself or Troy Heenan.
The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) assesses literacy and numeracy skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life. All students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 participate in the annual NAPLAN tests in reading, writing, language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy.
The tests provide parents and schools with an understanding of how individual students are performing at the time of the tests.
NAPLAN tests also provide schools, education authorities and governments with information about how education programs are working and whether young Australians are meeting important educational outcomes in literacy and numeracy.
If your child regularly utilises adjustments in their classroom, it may be possible for these to be used.
Staff have been familiarising students with the online site and format of the tests. A Public demonstration site provides sample tests should you wish to gain an insight into what the students will undertake.

Parents who have an eligible Health Care Card, (valid as at 28 January 2025) are eligible to apply for the 2025 CSEF.
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities like:

Documents, download the form at www.education.vic.gov.au/csef or visit the College Office to apply.
Your Health Care Card must be presented at the Office with your application.
Applications close on 4th July 2025.
The amount per student is $154 for primary students and $256 for secondary students.
If you applied in 2024 and your card is still valid, there is no requirement to reapply for 2025.
