Hello Families and Friends,

We’re absolutely thrilled to fill you in on all the joy and fun we've been having at TheirCare these past few weeks! With the weather keeping us on our toes, we've been soaking up every bit of sunshine before summer takes its leave!

Term 1, Week 5

Welcome to our Flavour Fest celebration! This week, the children dove into a world of delicious fun, exploring new sweets and expressing their creativity through exciting crafts. They had a blast designing their own cupcakes (both paper and physical form), making colourful keychains, and even crafting a ‘gigantic, humungous’ healthy eating pyramid to learn about balanced meals.

The highlight of the week was their passion for backyard cricket, where laughter and friendly competition filled the air! With the children helping decorate the window decals, it was clear that everyone was excited to be part of this vibrant, flavour-filled experience.

From tasty treats to imaginative crafts, our Flavour Fest brought out the best in creativity and fun. What a sweet and memorable week it’s been!

Term 1, Week 6

Welcome to our Trailblazers adventure! This week, the children set out on an exciting journey of creativity, teamwork, and exploration, working together on group crafts and activities. A standout project was creating cardboard s'mores and popsicle stick tents, with each child adding their own personal touch. They even come up with the idea of making mini s’mores on wooden pegs!

The children also took on the spaghetti marshmallow challenge, collaborating in teams to build sturdy structures. It was incredible to see them problem-solve and work together across year levels to build huts and share ideas.

Our Trailblazers theme has been a week of adventure, creativity, and teamwork, inspiring everyone to blaze new trails and build something amazing!

April Holiday Program – ‘Mad Fun’

Get ready for two weeks of Mad Fun like you've never seen before! We're beyond excited to dive into this action-packed adventure with you all. From thrilling excursions to hands-on activities, there's something for everyone!

And that’s just the beginning! We’ll be getting creative with Bubbles, shaking it up with Bollywood Dancing, exploring cool science experiments, and even hosting Talent & Music Shows to showcase all your hidden talents! Bookings are now open on FullyBooked!

Sun Safety 

Being in Term 1, children must wear hats when engaging in outdoor play. Can I please ask parents and guardians that you remind your child to bring their hat over to TheirCare so that we can go outside and enjoy all the sun has to offer safely! If preferred we have a tub at the service, your child is welcome to bring a spare sun-safe hat that is named that they keep at the service and use throughout the Year!

Sunscreen will be applied before going outside every day, if your child requires a particular sunscreen, please do not hesitate to let me know so that I can accommodate for this!

Booking/Cancellations

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of TheirCare, we kindly remind parents of the importance of managing bookings and cancellations for their children’s sessions. All bookings should be made through the FullyBooked platform.

If you need assistance with the booking process, please feel free to stop by the TheirCare room, and I will be happy to assist you.

Additionally, if your child is unwell or will be collected at the conclusion of the school day, please ensure 

you cancel their session through the FullyBooked application. If you are unable to access the app in a timely manner, you may contact me directly at 0487 011 573, and I can assist with cancelling the booking for you.
