University Headstart Programs offer high-achieving Years 10, 11, and 12 students the opportunity to extend their studies by undertaking university subjects during their final years of high school. This initiative provides an excellent chance to get a head start on a chosen undergraduate course or to explore an area of interest. Upon successful completion of a unit, students can receive advanced standing (credit) for their studies, giving them an advantage when they commence their degree. Balancing university subjects with a full load of school subjects is a significant achievement.

AgCAREERSTART is a 10-12 month gap year program for young people aged between 17 and 25. Participants have the opportunity to preference industry and location, as well as access to a $4,500 training and engagement bursary. Successful applicants will work closely with skilled host farmers and connect with other like-minded youth.
