Athletics Day 2026

What an amazing day we had and how lucky were we with the weather, managing to get our athletics day finished just before the rain hit. It was fantastic to see everyone decked out in their house colours, cheering each other on and getting involved across the day. There was certainly no shortage of ribbons being handed out, with just over 850 handed out to students for their amazing efforts and achievements.

We worked hard during the term to get ready for athletics day and all the training paid off with everyone doing really well and contributing some valuable points towards their house totals.

Speaking of points, here are the final results for the 2026 House Athletics:

1st – Red: 900 points, Equal 2nd – Blue & Yellow: 802 points and 3rd/4th – Green: 782 points

The House Athletics plaque will be engraved with our 2026 winners soon and you can view it in the display cabinet on the way into the office.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make the day run so smoothly. It truly wouldn’t be possible without your support. An extra special thanks to those who backed up and helped after already giving their time at the fete over the weekend your effort doesn’t go unnoticed and is hugely appreciated.

Thank you as well to the Northcote community members who came along to support the atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic. And finally, a big shoutout to our House Captains for their leadership, encouragement and support of younger students.
