Numeracy

In Numeracy, we finished off the term reviewing teen numbers & patterns. We looks at many different ways we can represent teens numbers and how different combinations of numbers can arrive at the same outcome.

Here are some photo's from the last few weeks, with all our amazing Math's learning taking place with the use of lots of concrete materials.

Literacy

In Literacy, we finished the term off with conjunctions; but & because to expand our sentences. We also revisited picture prompt writing which shows us all the amazing learning that has taken place over the last few weeks. We have continued to add to our Heart Word list with; where and because.

Term Reflection & Foundation Highlights from Term 3 from all the kids themselves

I liked market day because of all the fun activities.

I liked the AFL Roadshow Incursion because I got to mark the footy.

I liked Footy Day because we went to a parade and everyone was there.

I liked Footy Day because it was fun.

I liked the 100 Days of School because of all the special treats that we shared together.

I liked Book Week because I got to give out chocolates that match my chosen book.

I liked 100 Days of School because I liked the fun activities and I liked seeing everyone in bright colours.

I liked Market Day because I got a Starwars book from Trash and Treasure.

I liked SEPS Idol because I got to break dance in front of the whole school.

I liked 100's Days of School because I enjoyed eating the cookies.

I liked all the brain breaks we had.

I liked Footy Colour's Day because we got to see all the different football teams.

I liked all the Developmental Play sessions we got to do through the term.

Overall the term was filled with so many highlights and we look forward to many more in Term 4.

Footy Colours Days & AFL Roadshow Incursion

Our Safe Homes Incursion saw us transform a house into a safe home. Students got to choose what they wanted to included and how it would be decorated. The students really enjoyed this. These will be included in an exhibition from the council, in October.

We have now completed our Inquiry unit on Living things and their habitats. We learnt so much about different animals and enjoying writing information text about these too.

Market Day FUN!!

The Foundation Team are wishing all our Prep families a great holiday break & we will see you next term.
