New - Gr 1/2 Melbourne Zoo Excursion

This term, we have been learning about animal’s needs to help them survive. On Wednesday, 4th of September, the children in Grade 1 and 2 left school early to travel to  the Melbourne Zoo. The children became “Wild Scientists” at the Education Centre and they learnt about the features and basic needs of animals.

We welcome you to read some recounts that the children wrote once we returned to school.

New - Preps Explore Australian Animals

In Prep as part of our exploration of Australian animals, our focus animal was a possum.

We explored Possum Magic where we learnt about traditional Australian foods and we were able to make our own possum magic picnic.

We had to read and follow step by step instructions, look at the science of food preparation along with becoming familiar with a map of Australia and link the foods they ate with each state/territory in Australia.

We loved our lamingtons, pavlova kebabs and Vegemite sandwiches.

Bus Travel in 2025

Shepparton/Mooroopna School bus applications for the 2025 academic year are now open for all year level students requiring travel on a country bus (not town bus).

The Shepparton/Mooroopna School Bus website has developed a new and more efficient process for the School Bus Program bus applications.

Moving forward, parents can easily access and submit bus applications via Microsoft Forms. We believe this will help parents and ensure a smooth transition to the new process.

Simply click on the link below to complete the Bus Travel Application Form.
