What a great day celebrating, respecting and recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The students enjoyed a smoking ceremony, making Johnny cakes, playing traditional Aboriginal games, painting boomerangs and scratch art. We had a number of special visitors attending, sharing their knowledge of Aboriginal culture.
Everyone enjoyed the assembly with a performance from our dance group, and the official opening of our Cultural Garden and Mural.
