Quotes from the Track

“I came third in my two races. I was hoping to make it to division so I was a bit sad but I will keep training and hopefully make it to division next year.”

Yuval B, Year 4

“I made it to division in shot put because I came first. I am training for division and hopefully I’ll make it to the next level. It was fun cheering on your friends and students from CSPS.”

Zac S, Year 4

“I made it to division in triple jump and 200m. I made it in triple jump last year and I am proud of that. It was very nice to see people cheering even if they didn’t go to your school. I had a great day!”

Libby O, Year 4

“I had a good day; it was lots of fun. Even though I didn’t win it was taking part that counts.”

Kanex C, Year 5

“On the way to district, I was expecting to be in the relay team but I was also in the 100m. I came 5th in the 100m and in the relay team we came 2nd. The day was fun!”

Madi J, Year 5

“This was my first time going to district and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I came 4th in shot put and I was happy with that as I didn’t even expect to make to district. Everyone was supportive and it was a fun day. I’m glad as it is my last athletics day at CSPS.”

Kai S, Year 5

“Even though I didn’t get a ribbon I still feel I achieved a lot. I was in the long jump and I came 4th just 1cm off coming 3rd. I accidently stepped back but that is something I can work on next year.  I had a fun time celebrating with my friends.” Riley Z, Year 5
