Senior School Report
Mr Anthony Ellul
We are thrilled to share with you the fantastic achievements and activities that have unfolded in the Senior School during Term 3.
Our Year 12 students have truly shone, marking 100 days of their final year with enthusiasm and creativity. Leading the way with their spirited costumes, they set a high standard for participation and school spirit. In addition to this milestone, our Senior School students also embraced the excitement of Book Week by showcasing their imaginative costumes. Once again, they demonstrated their commitment to excellence and community engagement, setting the bar high for all. As we approach the end of the year, students preparing for their end-of-year exams will have the opportunity to practice during the September holidays. Our dedicated Year 12 teachers are working tirelessly to ensure that students are well-prepared for these crucial assessments.
The last day for Year 12 students will be on the 17th of October, marking the end of a significant chapter in their academic journey. Term 3 also saw our Year 10 and 11 students kick off with the Formal, a memorable event where students dressed up and enjoyed a night of celebration. A big thank you to Mr Pearson who organised the event for the year 10’s and 11’s. The year 12’s have their formal during the holidays after their September practice exams. Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Debutant ball early in Term 4 for our Year 11 students.
The Year 11’s also had an opportunity to be visited by the team from Latrobe University. University Students were able to talk the cohort about University life and expectations of University. As we gear up for Term 4, we would like to highlight some key dates for our Senior Students:
11/10: Year 12 Dress up Day - Career Theme
14/10: Year 12 Dress up Day - Character Theme
15/10: Year 12 Dress up Day - Dressing up as one of your Teacher's Theme
17/10: Year 12 Final Day Assembly
Additionally, Year 10 and 11 students can expect their exams in mid-Term 4. We encourage all students to make the most of their upcoming holidays by starting their exam preparations early, ensuring a smooth and successful testing period. Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in your child's education. We are immensely proud of the achievements of our Senior School students and look forward to a rewarding and successful Term 4.
