Sport: Term 4
Year 7
It was great to have an opportunity for our Year 7’s to try some new sports this term with a positive improvement in performances and skills. Hopefully this term’s experiences will create some excitement for next year’s combined Year 8/9 competition.
Some of our better results for the season were:
- Boys Indoor Cricket - 1st
- Girls Soccer - 1st
- Boys modified Hockey - 3rd
Congratulations to the following students for achieving Best and Fairest for their competition within Huntingtower.
Year 8 and 9 Sport
Our Mixed Tennis made the Grand Final for our Year 8/9 sport. These champions have shown great talent by winning every round of tennis this season granting them a Grand Final position. On Thursday the 23rd November they headed to Tally Ho tennis courts feeling confident. The final result speaks for itself on the level on skill they demonstrated.
Huntingtower won 8 sets to 0, 54 games to 5 against Mount Scopus.
As always the Grand Final gives the opportunity for players to be recognised for their efforts on the day. A well deserving Goran G received Best and Fairest. Thanks to the coach Danielle Jones for her constant support and guidance throughout the season.
Although we may not have had more grand final games Year 8/9 students still had the opportunity to show some great teamwork and skills. Congratulations to the following students in achieving Best and Fairest or Coaches Award.

Wishing the Huntingtower community a Very Merry Christmas and an Active Happy New Year.
