Staff News

This term we welcomed Miss Jessica Ryan as our Creative Arts Administration Assistant.

 

Miss Ryan graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 2014 and has been working since as a professional actor. With experience in Musical Theatre, Immersive Theatre, Online/Screen Campaigns she has worked nationally and internationally. As well as working as a professional actor she has had an extensive career in Customer Service and specialises in providing efficient and friendly help to all. Miss Ryan has a passion for Arts Education and has been overjoyed to join the Clayfield College Creative Arts Department this term. 

 

This week, our upper Strings specialist tutor, Emily Francis will be performing one of the greatest symphonies ever written, Mahler 9 with the Australian World Orchestra (AWO) in Melbourne and Sydney. The AWO, founded in 2010, draws Australian musicians home for a week every year from more than 40 orchestras around the world. Chookas to Emily!
