Acting Principal's Message

Final Message for the year!

Dear Parents and Carers,

We've come to the end of another busy but productive and dynamic school year. So many highlights to reflect on, along with successes and strong academic achievements. It's with great excitement to share that our school has been identified as an 'influence' school in the areas of Reading, Numeracy and Engagement. This indicates a positive trajectory in performance, for the measures of top two bands, reducing bottom two bands and learning gain. These are pleasing results, of the hard work from staff with a strong focus on developing collaborative Professional Learning Communities, driving improvement in teaching practice and student outcomes.

To reflect on the past 6 months, its' been a joy and pleasure to be able to lead this wonderful school.  I'm very proud of the students' academic achievements and their approaches to learning.  I would like to thank the whole school community for your support and collaboration during my time as acting principal. I am confident that our community will continue to flourish and strive for excellence.

As we welcome our new principal Justine Mackey, I look forward to the positive impact and leadership Justine will bring to our learning environment. I'm very excited in welcoming Justine to our amazing school and hope we can make her transition warm and supportive.

Have a Merry Christmas and safe holiday break!

The retaining wall works have now been completed by Graceline Builders. The installation of a 50m concrete sleeper wall that lines the outside area near the basketball courts looks impressive. The relaying around the outer edge of synthetic turf will complete the project,
