Hoop Time - All Star Girls through to State!

Congratulations to our Solway Girls Hoop Time team who competed at the Regional finals on Tuesday October 31. Outstanding performances throughout the day ensured the team made it all the way to the finals, and with a buzzer beater shot from Evie Grenville, the team has progressed through to the State finals! It was an incredible day from all the girls in the team - Solway is very proud of you! Thank you to Sarah Bransgrove for coaching the girls on the day.

EMR Boys Netball

Last Thursday, the Eastern Metro Region held the Boys Netball Invitational at Knox Regional Netball Centre where 3 teams of Year 6 boys represented Solway. All 3 teams played fantastic netball, with some superstar shooting by Ollie Moore and Sam Atchison, and some incredible defensive skills from Jack Licence and Ryan Seefeld. All the boys represented Solway with lots of enthusiasm and should be proud of their efforts. Well done to all the boys who participated!

Prep - 2 Athletics 

Last Friday, students in Prep - 2 were finally able to participate in the House Athletics Day - 3rd time lucky! The sun was shining for us, as the students competed in a variety of stations. Throughout the day, we saw some speedy hurdlers and some impressive leaps at the long jump pit. It was fantastic to see lots of house spirit and cheering at all the events! Thank you to all students for their fantastic efforts and enthusiasm despite the hot weather.
