YEAR 7 FORCES

To wind up Miss Creaser’s Year 7 Forces unit, using their knowledge about the forces which act upon us every day, students had to design a parachute which allowed an egg to fall from a height, and safely land without breaking.. They were given a certain amount of materials, had to design, construct and test out the final product. Not everyone was successful, but the majority of groups succeeded! A great challenge to finish up this topic.

YEAR 8

Mrs Witton's 2024 Year 8 class completed a chicken wing dissection this week as part of their Science studies on 'Levers'. They investigated different types of levers and how they work, and investigated how chicken wings work as a lever.
