Inclusive Education

What a busy couple of weeks it has been as we begin to wrap up the term.

Students have been taking their work and workbooks home, with many wanting to celebrate with their parents/carers the work they have accomplished, and the Staff have been busy writing and proof reading reports.

Our Grade 6 students celebrated their Grade 6 graduation yesterday with a fun day followed by a presentation ceremony, and the Secondary students have been participating in the end of year activities with their mainstream peers.

Last week students attended the final Nexus Inclusive Sport Games Day to celebrate International Day for People with Disability.

All our students will be sent home with a letter on the last day of term stating what class they will be in for 2024 and who their teacher will be. Please note that this is subject to change.

We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday, and look forward to seeing you in 2024.

VPC News

This term VPC have set up their very own veggie garden.

With help from John, students used a pallet truck to move two un-used garden beds outside their room.  They then planted tomatoes, lettuce, chilli, capsicum and basil.  Students have been watering the garden every day and the garden truly does look amazing.

Our plan is to use what we grow in our cooking program.
