Determined to Make a Difference

In the ever-evolving landscape of our world, the Grade 6 students have embarked on a profound journey, a collective determination to make a meaningful difference.

Reflecting on a year filled with growth and learning, each student took upon themselves a challenging task: to identify a core value they deemed significant. They then explored its potential impact on their lives and the world at large.

From generosity to loyalty, persistence to kindness, the diversity of values embraced by the students was inspiring. The activity unveiled insightful perspectives on how these values could shape their actions and decisions.

Reading their goals gave me a sense of hope for the future—a future where these values are not just ideas on paper but guiding principles to influence their lives. It reminded me of James 1:22:

“Be doers of the word, not hearers only."

In a world that often seems tumultuous, the clarity, compassion, and determination of these Grade 6 students instills a profound sense of optimism.

Determined to make a difference—one value, one action at a time.
