Sign Up for 2024 WHAT’S APP CLASS LISTS
In preparation for the 2024 school year we would like to ask all parents and guardians to fill out this very short survey providing your contact details and consent for inclusion in the class contact lists for next year. Getting this done now means we are ready to go with class reps, class communications and the all important class catch ups at the beginning of the term rather than the end.
Good communication is vitally important for the efficient and effective running of our school, and for building a sense of community. The following online survey is collecting the parent/guardian contact information needed to build the Class Lists for your child’s 2024 class.
The survey also enables interested parents/guardians to nominate themselves as Classroom Representatives (‘class reps’).
WHY WE NEED CLASS REPS and LISTS:
Every year, the BPS Parents & Friends Community (PFC) calls for nominations for Class Reps who will create and moderate class WhatsApp groups (https://www.whatsapp.com) for each class at BPS.
Class Reps use WhatsApp to communicate clear, concise and timely information to parents and guardians from day to day such as seeking volunteers for events, sending reminders on key school activities (e.g. dress-up days); and to pass on important messages from teachers, such as invitations for parent helpers for class excursions and events.
Class Lists contain the contact details of parents/guardians of the children in a class and are circulated early in the year.
INFORMATION BEING COLLECTED:
Parent/Guardian Name/s*
Mobile Phone Number/s
Email/s
Student Name**
Class*
More than one parent/guardian may be included on the class list
**Please fill in a new survey for each of your children at BPS.
In addition, we will be asking for the class reps support in organising some of the fundraising events throughout the year.
DEADLINE FOR RESPONDING:
Please respond by FRIDAY 2nd FEBRUARY, 2024. If you miss the deadline, you will not be included in the class lists. No late survey submissions can be accepted.
