Year Seven Orientation

On Friday 17 November, we held our Year Seven Orientation Day for the students who will be entering Year Seven in 2024.  This was a jam-packed day full of information sessions for both parents and students in the morning, lessons, and high school workshops.

The students had the opportunity to mix with each other and meet their classmates for 2024, meet their Heads of House and House Captains, learn all about Homeroom, find out what a day in Year Seven is like, become more familiar with the buildings and areas in the Secondary School.  They participated in a range of rotational lessons, which included Marine Science, Physical Education and Japanese.  

The day also included a lunchtime music concert by our very talented Years Eight and Nine Music students and a delicious BBQ lunch cooked by Chef Nick.

It was lovely to meet all of the incoming Year Seven students for next year, and to see how excited and engaged they were throughout the day.  I am really looking forward to helping this cohort navigate the beginning of their high school journey.

Back to school: Monday 22, Tuesday 23 & Wednesday 24 January 2024, 9.00am to 3.00pm

New boarders only: Monday 29 January 2024, 3.00pm to 5.00pm

Current boarders only: Tuesday 30 January 2024, 11.00am to 1.00pm

Back to normal opening hours: Wednesday 31 January 2024
