Meet The Staff - Matthew Di Domenica

What is your role at Concord School? Acting Principal

Provide us with a ‘snapshot’ into your daily routine at Concord School: I always start by catching up on my emails that I didn’t get a chance to read the day before! I have meetings with the Assistant Principals or different sections in the school.

I stop past the school café to get my coffee during lunch time and have a good chat with the students around the café and yard.

In the afternoons I make all my phone calls and try to set some goals to achieve in the next day.

What do you love most about working at Concord School?  I love that every day is always different. I really enjoy interacting with all the students and staff and hearing about all the amazing programs the students do on a daily basis.

Favourite Food: Lasagne

Favourite Movie/TV Show: Pan's Labyrinth

Favourite music: Anything with a good beat!

Things I dislike the most: Mushrooms

Hidden Talent or Something We May Not Know About You: I lived in Edinburgh for a year after I finished my university studies.

Favourite Sporting Team/Athlete: Carlton

If You Could Pick Any 3 People as Dinner Guests, Who Would They Be and Why?

Neil Armstrong, so I can hear all about his adventures in space on walking on the moon.

Leonardo da Vinci, to ask about all of his inventions and paintings.

Taylor Swift, to sing along to all of her songs!
