This week's notes

Dear families and friends,

Thank you

We omitted to thank Paul Quinn last week in the newsletter for his help with the working bee last Tuesday. Thanks Paul!

Swimming Program- 3 Days To Go!

Our first Swimming Day is next Monday 20th November.

On swimming days we will be departing at 12:30pm from school and returning by approximately 2:30pm. We will be eating lunch at the pool. There is an expectation that all children will participate in swimming classes unless otherwise notified by the parents.

All dates can be found on the newsletter Calendar page.

Due to us receiving funding this year there will be no cost to families for our Swimming Program.  I am sure that this will be a great financial relief to families.

Fleece & Flower Show

The excited Year 4/5/6 children ran a hugely successful and popular Games Stall last Friday afternoon. At one stage we had a line up of 10 people wanting to try their luck with the Mystery Jars. Thank you once again to everyone who donated jars to our stall, we really appreciated your generosity. We made a profit of $180 from the show and this will go towards a special treat for all of our students.

First Aid on UEducateUs

This week we have begun sending a message home through UEducateUs to inform parents of any incidents involving your child/ren requiring first aid. The message will indicate what has happened, what the injury is, any treatment provided and whether there is a need to contact the school. This is a way to keep families up to date with what has happened at school through the day. It is also a great way to keep a time record of all incidents that have occured. More serious incidents will still be notified by telephone.

This is still in its trial period so any feedback is welcome.

Have a great weekend
