Excellence Through Endeavour

One of our fastest athletes, Jesse Sezonov was so successful in the Southern region Athletics carnival that he made it through to the State Schools Victoria Athletics (SSV) competition. 

On Wednesday November 1, Jesse competed in the SSV state 80m hurdles, representing Murrumbeena Primary school. At 10am he competed in the heats, in which he posted the second fastest time. That qualified him for the final later that day at 4pm. Keeping his focus and with a tough field of competitors, Jesse was successful in placing third. Our school is proud of his achievement. His dedication to training and commitment is truly representative of our school motto, ‘Excellence through Endeavour’. Well done Jesse.
