Murrumbeena Dads and Kids Picnic

My sincere thanks to all of the dads and kids that came down to Murrumbeena Park last Thursday for a picnic in the park. We all had a fantastic evening.

The weather was ok, the sausages were delicious, the company was outstanding and the kids vs dads soccer... well that was just about World Cup standard.

The Murrumbeena Dads Group has organised two events for the year, in their first year as an organising group. We look forward to building on these as we go into 2024. The aims of the group are to build relationships and to strengthen the connection of dads to the school, as research shows that this is a significant supporting factor for children's education. 

So hats off to Pete, Ishan, Marty, Adrian and Mat (better known as Charlie and Sam's dad, Buddy's dad, Jack's dad, Tahlia's dad and Eliza, Olivia and Ineka's dad) for their dedication to the children and families of our school!
