Year 1 Bulletin

Investigations foster a student-fostered learning environment that promotes curiosity and provides students with the opportunity to develop skills such as: Thinking critically and creatively, speaking clearly, posing questions, developing a rich vocabulary, collaborating and making connections to the real world.

 

This week’s Bulletin is a celebration and reflection of our achievements during Investigations this term. 

 

The students were asked “What have you enjoyed doing in Investigations?”

“I enjoy the café because it is fun. You get to role play and play with your friends.” - Zoe H 1S

“I like Investigations because I make a little spinner. The faster you spin it, it can fly.” - Ben W 1S

“My favourite area is Creative Minds because I make iPhones to sell at Apple.”

“I like jumping on the trampoline.” - Coby 1K

“I like the Armadale Zoo because you can design a zoo with animal 

enclosures and water taps.” - Lachlan 1K

 

“I enjoyed Young Engineers because it is fun making things and testing them.”

“I like doing the obstacle course and timing myself and my friends.” - Lachie 1K

“I like the shop because we get to be customers and work in the shop.” - Olivia 1K

“I like creating new things because it is fun!” - Paloma 1K

 

 

We had fun cooking in the kitchen with Karen. The food was delicious!
