Parent Information Evenings

Thank you to the many families of Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 children who were able to attend our information sessions last night. We are very much looking forward to seeing parents and caregivers of Year 4, 5 and 6 children tonight.

One of the focus points of the middle session of Wednesday evening will be cyber-safety for families.

St Paul Lutheran School Leaders

A reminder that our School Captains, Community Leaders, and all Senior students will be installed as leaders at St Paul Lutheran School during our Week 5 Chapel on Wednesday, 28 February (NOT March as I wrote in last week’s Inspire). This will be live-streamed on our closed Facebook group for our school community. Parents are warmly invited to attend.

Staffing News 

In the very beginning of the year, I shared through Inspire that Mrs Jane Sabel has been appointed to a new role as a classroom LSO at Redeemer Lutheran School in Nuriootpa. We will be farewelling Jane after Chapel in Week 5, 28 February and families are invited to attend Chapel, followed by morning tea and coffee with Jane in the hall.

Sports Vouchers from State Government

If you are considering joining up for an extracurricular activity for your child, the Government of South Australia, Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing, Sports Voucher Program provides a discount of up to $100 on sport, dance, learn to swim or scouts/guides fees for children living in South Australia in Reception to Year 9, each calendar year. The aim is to increase the number of children participating in physical activity by helping to reduce cost as a barrier.
