What a busy term we are having! Here are some highlights of our Term 1 Mandarin:

Chinese Day 2024

Our BPS Chinese Day will be on Wednesday 27th March. It will be a wonderful day of fun, learning and celebration of the Chinese language and culture. It is also a great way to promote understanding and respect for different cultures, traditions and beliefs. Let’s celebrate it! 

 

2024 is the year of the Dragon. Our BPS will hold our own Dragon Parade on Chinese Day. BPS dragon parade will start at 2.30pm in the gym. Parents and families are welcome to join!

Chinese New Year Poster Competition 2024 - The Year of The Dragon

There are 64 students participated in this competition. 谢谢 (xiè xiè) to all the participants for your effort and participation. 谢谢 (xiè xiè) to all the teachers for voting.  The winners of 2024 Chinese New Year Poster Competition will be announced on our Chinese Day (27th March). 

Mandarin Moment (Assembly)

Mengsi and Hetu, the Language Captains of 2024, presented the 'Mandarin Moment' at assembly in Term One. They are also going to host the special assembly on Chinese Day. Well done Mengsi & Hetu! 

Term 1 Classroom Activities
