The Patch Program
Term 1, Week 8
We’ve had a very busy term 1 in The Patch. All of the classes expect foundation have had a cooking session, and we’ve been making red and green pizzas with lovely vegetables from the patch.
As you can see, Valentine’s Day inspired some of our pizza shapes!
In the garden, we have been dismantling some of our old garden beds ready to replace them with new ones. We’ve also been doing lots of maintenance, learning about seeds and seed harvesting/saving. We have also started planting our seeds for out winter vegetables.
Keep an eye out on compass in the next few days as I will asking for volunteers to help water The Patch over the holidays, as I won’t be around for much of them!
