STEM & Kitchen Garden
STEM
Students have been eagerly learning about living things with Foundation looking at plants and planting pea and bean seeds to watch them grow and then plant in the Kitchen Garden.
Other grades have observed the parts of plants using USB digital microscopes, looked at plant life cycles and studied plant adaptations such the lotus effect. The lotus effect refers to self-cleaning properties that are a result of ultra-hydrophobicity as exhibited by the leaves of Nelumbo, the lotus flower.
Kitchen Garden
Grade 5 and 6 students are stirring up excitement in Kitchen Garden! From kneading dough to simmering sauces, they're mastered the art of making fresh pasta with amatriciana sauce. Through teamwork and hands-on learning, they're not just cooking; they're cultivating a love for wholesome ingredients and delicious meals, sharing their meal with their peers.
