PARENTS, TEACHERS & FRIENDS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

Many thanks to the families who came along to the AGM last week, and special thanks to the staff for hosting the Parent Information Night and BBQ.

Mrs Claire Ryan gave special thanks to the outgoing executive for a fantastic job in working so tirelessly for the students of our school.

All positions were declared vacant at the meeting.

The Canteen and Uniform Shop Co-Ordinators will be discussed at the General Meeting.

UPCOMING FUNDRAISING EVENT:

The Boggabri Show n' Shine will be held on Saturday, 23rd March, at Jubilee Oval Boggabri between 9am and 2pm.

This will be a fun day out for the whole family, and there is something for everyone to enjoy. There will be classic cars on display, market stalls, food stalls, a jumping castle, music, and kids activities.

Sacred Heart School will open a market stall at this local community event to raise funds for our school. We will create a Home-baked Goodies Stall and sell a variety of delicious baked treats and fresh produce, such as cakes, slices, biscuits, jams, pickles, etc.

Our stall will also sell ice cream cones as a cool treat for the community on a hot day.

We are asking for your support as a school community to help supply the home-baked goods or offer some time to run the market stall on the day. Many hands make light work. Please complete this Google Form outlining how you can offer to help the school at this community event.

Baked Goods need to be sent to school by Friday, 22nd March. Thank you in advance for your support.

NEXT GENERAL PTF MEETING

This meeting will be held at the school on Tuesday, March 19th, at 5:30pm. If you can't attend in person, a Zoom link will be sent out before the meeting. One of the agenda items to be discussed will be the upcoming fundraising events: The Boggabri Show n' Shine and Drovers' Campfire (Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 28th). Students have been invited to sing the National Anthem on Friday at 5:30pm, and a BBQ roster will need to be finalised.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK (WWCC) 

Parents who volunteer at the school in any capacity around children other than their own must also have a Working With Children Check. Volunteer Working With Children Checks can be obtained from Service NSW and, once obtained, are valid for 5 years. Just a friendly reminder that if you are a member of the PTF, you must have a current Working With Children Check. If you are unsure, don't hesitate to contact Ms Traynor in the office.

UNIFORM SHOP

Please check your child's Winter Uniforms to see if they need anything for Term 2 & 3. There is limited stock in the Uniform Shop so it would be appreciated if you could plan ahead in case anything needs to be ordered.
