Principal’s Message

Mrs Claire Ryan

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Week 7's Newsletter.

Last Thursday evening, we hosted our Parent Information Night to share our goals for 2024. Thank you to the families that attended. It was great to see you supporting your children's learning.

As discussed at the meeting, we have three pillars that will aim to achieve our goal:

Pillar 1: Building an Authentic Catholic Community of Care

At Sacred Heart School, we will do this by enhancing and strengthening our school, parent, parish and community partnerships through the Living Well Learning Well Framework.

Pillar 2: Great Learning and Teaching

We will develop and engage staff in effective moderation practices for assessment.

Pillar 3: Strong Teams and Partnerships

At Sacred Heart, we will provide regular opportunities for Professional Learning Team meetings to build teacher capacity.

As we strive to achieve these pillars throughout the year, we will ultimately work towards creating 'literate and numerate students for a hope-filled future'.

Over the coming weeks, we will continue to unpack components of our Annual Improvement Plan (AIP) in the newsletter.

WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY

With great sadness and deepest sympathy, I inform you of the passing of Jeremy Smith's father and Kiarah and Indianah's Grandfather.

We pray for the repose of his soul. Our thoughts and prayers go to Jeremy and his family at this very sad and difficult time.

Have a wonderful week, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further concerns.

Warm regards,

Claire Ryan
