Press from the Pouch - 14/03/2024
The mighty Guliwan Kangaroos have been firing through Term 1 of 2024. Encouragement, respect, teamwork, and expertise have been outstanding in the Guliwan mob. We'd like to take this moment to acknowledge these traits in our very own Emily T, a proud Gulliwan student in grade five, who registered our very first Aussie of the Month winner for 2024- truly outstanding Em!
What does Hannah love about being in Guliwan? Hannah loves seeing how excited the students get to participate in class activities and them earning so many positive tokens. Hannah loves how students get around each other, team spirit is a highlight for Hannah!
Clara have you been a Class Captain this Term? Yes. What was your favourite part about being Class Captain? I got to be a leader. Who did you give a token to and why? I gave George a token in F-1M for bouncing back in PE after he had fallen over. Clara from Guliwan is a very strong leader and we can't wait to see her keep growing in the Guliwan team!
Coming up towards the end of the term we have so many fun incursions and excursions which we are excited to see not only the Guliwan Kangaroo students thrive in these activities but also our friends over in the Lok-Lok Eagles. Community involvement is the key to fun, so let's get keen to see everyone participating throughout core learning and sport events throughout the rest of Term 1 to earn many, many more tokens for our houses.
