Welcome to the M.A.R.C Library! 

M.A.R.C is a Mobile Library run by qualified teachers, Mrs. Lang and Ms. Linic. We visit 7 Regional schools in the Geelong Region each fortnight. Students at Ceres Primary School have an opportunity to borrow from the M.A.R.C Library every week on a Friday. Each class has a library session with teacher, Mrs. Lang, aiming to expose students to a range of quality children’s literature, books and genres by diverse authors. 

Borrowing: Students can borrow 1-2 books from a range of classifications such as Fiction, Non-Fiction, Graphic Novels and Picture Books collections. 

They can borrow their books for a 2 weeks duration and must return their library books in order to borrow new books from the Mobile Library each week. If students wish to re-borrow their library books, they may request it from the teacher. 

How to identify a MARC Library book: M.A.R.C Library books have a sticker on the front of the book with an image of Mobile Library Van. It also features a Geelong MARC library barcode on the back of the book. Any books that are unable to be returned, (books lost or damaged), will incur a $10 fee. We hope that you enjoy the range of books in our library and have some enriching discussions & book chats with your children over the year!

F/1 Teddy Bear Picnic

Our Foundation & Grade 1 students enjoyed some games, free play and a BBQ lunch up at Frank Mann Reserve on Tuesday as part of their Teddy Bear Picnic.
