Year 8 French Classes: Language and Collaboration Through Photo Album Project

Our Year 8 French classes have recently undertaken an exciting Deep Learning collaborative project. The culmination of this creative journey took shape in the form of a Gallery Walk in the Great Hall, where students had the chance to showcase their personal Photo Albums to their peers.

This engaging project highlighted the students' French language skills and their active participation in providing constructive feedback, fostering a culture of appreciation and collaboration within the classroom.

Bravo to our Year 8 French classes for their enthusiasm, creativity and collaborative spirit.

‘For the past few lessons in our French classes, we worked on creating a photo album of our friends, family members or pets. We wrote descriptions about their appearances, ages, personalities, birthdays, likes and dislikes all in French. After we finished, all of the French students came together in the Hall to look and give feedback to our classmates for their descriptions and presentations.’ - Aleksia (C8)
