Finding reliable and relevant information on parenting can be a minefield. We are bombarded with books, TV shows, podcasts, articles, social media posts, and websites all dedicated to parenting. In addition, we have the varied opinions of those around us. With so much information out there, it can be difficult to know where to start. To assist this, last year Pittwater House partnered with 'SchoolTV'.

'SchoolTV' is an online resource that provides a catalogue of credible information with practical support strategies to assist you in your parenting journey. Topics are varied and include cybersafety, mental health, neurodiversity, physical health, and positive parenting. Special reports are also available which provide advice on how to talk to your child on current issues including gambling, war and conflict, and mobile phone use. Each topic features interviews with leading experts and are supported by a range of resources.

'SchoolTV' is freely available to all members of the Pittwater House community. It can be accessed via this link or through the School’s App. We encourage you to take the time to familiarise yourself with the site so you know where to find information when required. HouseNews will provide updates on 'SchoolTV' as new content is published.
