Responsible Pet Ownership

On Thursday last week, students from Aleph and ABCs were able to learn about responsible pet ownership. Liz Monahan, from The Responsible Pet Ownership (RPO) program, had the students up and dancing, while teaching them to watch out for signs that a dog is angry or sad, and what to do in each circumstance. When faced with an angry dog, the students will easily be able to tell you what to do: stand still, quiet as a mouse, look at the ground with your hands by your side. 

But for many, the highlight of the day was being able to safely pat Echo, Liz's Miniature Greyhound!
