With the snow gods—or perhaps we should say the snow dragon!—smiling on us throughout the school holidays, the snow finally arrived just in time. Our students were thrilled to begin the first of their three downhill snow days this week.

Despite the whiteout conditions, reports from teachers, instructors, and our wonderful parent volunteers were overwhelmingly positive. Everyone had a fantastic day, embracing new challenges, building confidence, and most importantly, having fun. For some students, it was their very first experience on the snow, while others continued to develop their skiing and snowboarding skills, confidently carving their way down the slopes.

It has been wonderful to hear how our students demonstrated our school values of respect, kindness, and resilience throughout the day. Whether they were putting on ski boots for the first time, learning to clip into their skis or snowboard, making their first turns, or refining their technique, every student achieved something to celebrate.

We can't wait to see what next Wednesday brings!
