Ross Kelly Cup Camp

In Week 3, Clontarf Years 8, 9 and 10 boys travelled to the Central Coast to compete in the Ross Kelly Cup Rugby League Carnival.

The boys attended the Cup Dinner alongside teams from across the competition, enjoying the opportunity to connect with other participants and prepare for the carnival ahead.

On game day, they took to the field to represent our school with pride. They displayed great teamwork, determination, respect and sportsmanship in every game.

Our academy came out on top in Game 1 against Newcastle/Irrawang with a score of 15 - 12. Try scorers were Mitchell W, Jahram S and Robert K. In Game 2 against Port Macquarie Westport, we lost 31 - 12 with Mitchell R and Tyeson S scoring a try each. We won Game 3 against Shoalhaven with some of our boys playing with the opposition to help them out. Game 4 against Wellington proved too strong for our young side. Unfortunately we did not make the finals this year.

Attendance

This term Clontarf have started a new attendance initiative where students with 100% attendance for the week go into a draw to win. Congratulations to Week 2 100% MVP Winner - Keanu K. Great effort for turning up every day!
