Year 9 Café Foods - Producing a sweet!

As part of the year 9 café foods subject, our students recently embarked on a delectable journey, tasked with designing a cafe, menu, and bringing one of their sweet creations to life to assess its feasibility. It is with great delight that we can report that every student exceeded expectations in their food adventure.

From meticulously planning their recipes to skilfully composing food orders, our students displayed an impressive level of independence throughout the entire process. They were not hesitant to seek support or feedback when necessary, showcasing their commendable commitment to success. Some students made honeycomb, others jam, ice-cream, sorbets, cakes, crepes, tarts and slices. 

Truly and immensely proud of their collective efforts in the kitchen this term.
