Year 8 News

Hello, Year 8 students and families.

We hope you had a nice long weekend and are enjoying the sunshine.

Year 8 Update

This week in Year 8 students are completing Literacy Circles and Informative writing in English, working on Cyber safety modules in Digital Tech, exploring earth and space sciences in Science, looking at percentages in Maths and indigenous flavours in Food Sciences to name but a few!

General End of Term Reminders:

We encourage students to ensure they finish off Term 4 positively and successfully.

Plan your study time and continue to write important due dates in your diary.

Thursday 23rd of November is the last day for all assessment tasks and work requirements to be handed in so teachers can complete marking and write reports. We encourage you to communicate with teachers promptly as we approach these dates should any academic concerns be raised.

On Monday 27th of November, students will then transition into Year 9.

Even at this time of year: -  "Asking for help is a sign of strength!”
