Group 25

Throughout 2nd Semester our senior students in Group 25 have been very successfully undertaking full-day Work Experience sessions at the Endeavour Foundation in Oakleigh.

This has firstly required these students to complete a full induction in occupational health and safety, followed by an orientation of the workplace and the tasks that need to be completed each day. Most of these tasks relate to food manufacturing – including the selection of goods, packaging, and despatch. The goods are all destined for the major retailers, so next time you shop at Woolworths or Aldi you may see these items on the shelves! 

These sessions have not only been greatly enjoyed by our students, but they have also provided them with a valuable introduction to important work skills.
